Le Marmouset brings together hands-on early childhood experience, educational research, and reflective practice to support children, families, and educators in a rapidly changing world.

Le Marmouset is a small, French immersion preschool opening in August 2026. We welcome children ages 18-48 months in a nurturing, nature-based environment with maximum 4-5 children per session.
Spots are limited. Families interested in Fall 2026 enrollment should complete our brief interest form. We’ll contact you to schedule a personal visit.

Le Marmouset is a bilingual early childhood education project based in Santa Rosa, California, inspired by both French and the California educational traditions.

Meet The Founder
Bonjour! I’m Laurence, a Paris-born educator completing my Early Childhood Education certification at Santa Rosa Junior College. I’m a native French speaker, fluent in four languages, and passionate about creating nurturing, bilingual learning environments for young children.
Le Marmouset reflects my belief that children learn best through play, nature, and meaningful relationships: values central to both French and progressive American early childhood education.
